NOVY CAS – Situation after signing the peace contract
There should be peace from Sunday midnight in the Ukraine. The biggest contradiction in this situation is that on 15th February there were 10 cases of shooting from pro-Russian rebels. However, the captain of the rebels said the shooting was just a defense, because Ukrainian forces broke the truce. This all happened close to the city of Debaltsevo.
The newspapers also say that Russia is setting their artillery in these locations. It is also written that the Russians laid siege to this town, as they have a claim for it. According to this article, Ukrainian president Petro Porošenko said that they are sending a lot of new ammunition to the city of Debaltsevo to help the Ukrainian army.
(What is the truth? Honestly, I don’t know. I just think that everyone has their own story which suits them the best. In every story, there is something which is true. These newspapers are famous for not having verified their information, so let’s see!)

"WHAT DOES DEBALTSEVE MEAN?" ( news from Slovak newspaper .Týždeň - 21.2.2015)

Debalsteve means a success of separatists from a military point of view: they have gained control of the important railway and junction between Donetsk and Luhansk. They managed to accomplish the second of the three objectives of their "new-year´s military offensive": they expelled Ukrainian forces from the Donetsk airport and they occupied Debaltseve. Although, separatists did not succeed to capture approximately 5 thousand Ukrainian soldiers who were staying in Debaltseve.

According to Ukrainian president Poroshenko, 90% of soldiers were successfully moved from Debaltseve.
According to separatists, over 500 Ukrainian soldiers were captured.
Ukrainian side states that few tens of soldiers died during the military operation.
Separatists state that over 1500 soldiers were killed during the latest conflict.

Exact numbers of killed and injured are enormous on both sides, but the fact is that Ukrainian army moved from Debaltseve willingly after it was obvious that it would not be possible for them to handle the situtation.

" IS THE MINSK AGREEMENT IN FORCE? " ( brief news from Slovak internet portal TA3- 17.2.2015)

The new Ukrainian armistice is a result of negotiations between Russian president Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, French president Francois Hollande and German chansellor Angela Merkel held in Minsk.

The final version was signed by representatives from Kie, Russia, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and by the separatists. Ukarainian, Russian and German leaders connected over the phone in late hours of monday, February 9, 2015 and agreed on concrete steps to enable monitoring of the situtation Debaltseve by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe according to Merkel´s spokesman.

Ludmila & Boris: Summary of our shopping, budget 50€

Hi! Theme Three is slowly getting to the end, so I decided to do a little summary of our shopping.
Our goal was to choose products for a small party. The amount of money was 50€.

First of all, it was very important to buy something good to drink. We bought Pepsi, because we both prefer Pepsi to Coca-Cola. We also bought 7UP. I personally like both Sprite and 7UP, so it was a spontaneous choice. There is also one drink which is only popular in Slovak and Czech Republic – Kofola. We bought two bottles, because it is definitely healthier than Cola or Pepsi and we love the drink! Kofola is always a great choice. And if you will manage to visit Slovakia someday – you have to try it!

In my opinion, every good party has to have some salts! My favourite salts are definitely Slovakia Chips and Bake Rolls! And why Slovakia chips? I think it is the most famous brand of chips in our country. They have a rich tradition and many many flavors.

Also all-important are sweets! What do we imagine as sweets? Definitely candies, biscuits, cookies, ice-cream or cakes! We decided to take our two favorite candies. Werther’s are – in my point of view – very well-known so I picked them because of their famous name, but they also taste very well! We both really like Damla candies, even though they are not really popular here. Try them one time and you will love them, trust me!

We also had to take some Manner biscuits, because Boris is really addicted to them. One of the most famous sweet products is definitely Nutella. What do you need to enjoy Nutella? Just a big spoon! Or fresh pastry, it tastes great.

After all, we took some ice-cream. I like the brand called Venezia – it is not overpriced and it always tastes good. And in the end – every visitor of our party can take some Ferrero Rocher’s with him and save them for bad times!

That’s it about our little shopping, we hope you enjoyed our video.

Sofi & Petra: Budget 150€

We prepared a short analysis of what we bought because we thought that it might be more accurate than just answering those few questions at the end of our video (which, we hope, you enjoyed):

Coca Cola: We know many brands of cola but the most popular around the world are probably Coca Cola and Pepsi. We chose Coca Cola in the end because of the better taste in this case, although we dont know how other brands taste.

Lays crisps: There was Messi on the package, no discussion!

Fries: There was only one brand in the shop, we didnt have much to consider.

Ice Cream: Carte d´Or is one of the best-known brands, but we didnt buy it only for its name, we also think that the price, which is quite high, is adequate to quality and taste.

Red Bull: I honestly cant really tell the difference between other energy drinks and Red Bull, but it was on sale that day. We had enough money to buy even more expensive drinks, but why would we do that if we cant spot the difference?

Despite the fact that we bought more items, we hope that this little article can help you understand our motivation to buy certain brands or products. :)

Celebs and advertisement

In this theme we analys interesting advertisements. Lots of commercials are advertised by famous people. But are they using these things really? Or its just about money? For example, the new Opel Meriva is advertised by a famous super model called Claudia Schiffer.
It is a family car in my opinion. It´s price is a everyday price for normal people and not for super model, who earns definitely more than normal people. I just can´t imagine, how Claudia Schiffer arrives to the red carpet with this car, and not with a limusine, for example. So maybe, in fact, famous people, who advertised things for normal people, are not using them and they just make it for Money.

Annoying ads: Nicer Dicer- teleshopping

So we decided to write a short article about annoying ads (mostly seen on teleshopping) The main video is about 3-4 minutes long but it is repeated a couple of times in a single ad. These ads mostly feature completely useless things, and have phrases like: "Order now and get a discount!" and others.
